 It is hard to say good-bye to friends, but it is good to know they can take Harry and me with them!

The final piece -I approached this portrait differently, deciding to go with watercolours, and just a few details in colour pencil.

Winsor & Newton Watercolour on Bockingford paper. The picture show the white more yellow than what it actually was. The earlier stages below are more accurate as far as that goes.

The blue was a bit too bright. I needed to tone it down a bit.

                                  I definitely needed a darker background.
